My OB is not some young kid who has been practicing for a few years; he is one of the best - if not the best - in Egypt! He has all the experience, knowledge, training, and talent needed for a trustworthy OB. It is not his fault that I cannot hand over power! It is not his fault that I was born to question authority no matter what form it takes! It is not his fault that I am a non-conformist! It is not his fault that I research and find my own answers to the questions that taunt me! It is not his fault that I resent parental control regardless who it came from! He did not do anything wrong! He actually did everything right; he supported me emotionally, took care of me physically, ordered the right tests, prescribed the right supplements, and followed up with me throughout the whole pregnancy. It's me not him!

في العالم كله, خلدت والت ديزني نموذج فارس الاحلام الامير ذو الحصان الابيض والعربة السحرية والصوت القوي العميق والقوة الجسدية والبدلة الملكية وطبعا لا ننسى قدرته الفذة على مبارزة الاشرار بالسيوف

في مصر, بالاضافة الى الصورة الخيالية المشهورة, كانت لدينا نسختنا الخاصة من فارس الاحلام او فتى الشاشة الاول او الـ"عريس يا اماي" … وطبعا طرأت عليها تغييرات عديدة ومراحل مختلفة كتير.. لكن نقول بوجه عام, من وجهة نظري الشخصية.. كان فيه تلات مراحل رئيسية…..

مرحلة قبل الحادثة… زي رشدي اباظة واحمد مظهر وشكري سرحان واحمد رمزي.. ومرحلة بعد الحادثة زي.. بدون اسماء وبناءا على اللي حصل في التحرير متأكدة انكم عارفينهم

Before I tell you the story of Adam's birth, I want to clarify why I am writing it in the first place. I have decided to write this story and share with you the most intimate details because I owe it to many women out there who feel alienated from the mainstream and need comforting and reassurance. There are so many great mamas who shared stories and videos of their birth experiences and they were my rock! When everything seemed to fall apart around me, I turned to those strong empowered women for inspiration. Now it is my turn to put myself out there for all the other women who need my story.

فى سبتمبر 2009 أطلقت الكاتبة مروة رخا عبر موقعها مبادرة النشر المجاني الإلكتروني لمساندة الكتاب ضد استغلال دور النشر الورقي و قد اختار مركز الشيخ إسماعيل أبو داود ثلاثة كتب في مجال التنمية الذاتية ليقوم المركز برعايتهم وتشجيعهم (دون تبني المركز للأفكار الواردة بالكتب). الكتاب الأول للكاتبة رشا خليفة و اسمه "شركة اسمها أنا". تتحدث الكاتبة عن العمل من المنزل و عن ترتيب السيرة الذاتية و مهارات المقابلة الشخصية. الكتاب الثاني للكاتب أحمد رفيق و اسمه "حياتك دايناميكس" و هنا يحث الكاتب القارئ على تحديد أهداف شخصية و رؤية مستقبلية لحياته، كما يتحدث عن تطوير الذات و اتقان المهارات التى تؤهل حديث التخرج لسوق العمل. أما الكتاب الثالث فهو للمحاضر محمد عادل عبد العزيز و اسمه "تجنبهم و اتخذ قرارك" عن الطريق لاتخاذ القرارات الصائبة دون ندم أو خيبة أمل عبر معرفة الأشياء الواجب تجنبها لاتخاذ قرار صائب و فعال.

In September 2009, Marwa Rakha’s Free Online Publishing initiative was launched on marwarakha.com to support aspiring authors who are continuously abused by publishing houses – without necessarily adopting their thoughts. Abudawood Training Center chose three personal development books; the first book is called “A Company Called ME” by Rasha Khalifa about entrepreneurship, resume-writing tips, and interview advice. The second book is called “Avoid them and Decide for yourself” by Mohamed Adel Abdel Aziz where he gives great decision-making tips. The third book is called “Your Life Dynamics” by Ahmed Rafik and he talks about setting goals for yourself, managing interviews, and developing your skills to satisfy the needs of the job market.

I am not a mom yet:) I do not know if I will be good or not! All what I know is that I will love my baby as he is for who he is! I have no plans for him and no expectations of him! He could be anyone he wants! I do not own him! I also believe that he is coming into my life to teach me new things – maybe even more than anything that I have to teach him.
